About Complete Landscaping & Lawn Care

This is the story of how and why I created Complete Landscaping & Lawn Care :

After graduating from UTSA with a degree in Chemical Engineering, I went to work for an environmental consultant firm here in San Antonio. There I learned a great deal about the Texas environment, the politics behind it, and the laws that govern it. I saw ridiculous regulations that impede business. But I also saw, first hand, what some companies are doing to the environment. I read articles of a large scale attack on the environment.

When I read an article about common pesticides and herbicides killing birds and frogs and harming the health of people across the US because of irresponsible lawn care, I decided to research more.

What I found was amazing. With advances in science and research, organic lawn care techniques had become economical and as effective as chemical techniques, without harming wildlife and threatening people! This is proven in a research study soon to be released by Texas A&M. I wondered why this was not bigger news.

In reality, I believe most people just do not know there is a problem. They are not intentionally harming the environment, they are just not aware that there are environmentally responsible alternatives.

One of my main goals with Complete Landscaping & Lawn Care, and one of the reasons I started this company, is to educate people about environmentally sound actions. But even if people still don't know why it works, as long as they call me, they are helping.
